10) Vince HATES Smoking
There have been multiple stories over the years about Vince McMahon’s hate for smoking cigarettes. Bruce Prichard on his podcast (Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard) told the story of Vince offering a man sitting in front of him on an airplane $500 to put his cigarette out.
Also, during a PWTorch livecast interview, Scott Hall revealed that the only person that Vince allowed to smoke around him was the legendary Blackjack Lanza:
“I mean, Jack Lanza was so over with Vince that – Vince wouldn’t let anyone smoke around him, no one could smoke cigarettes in the arena, except Lanza”
Pro-tip: if you ever meet Vince, don’t light up a cigarette in front of him.
9) Vince HATES Sneezing
Another thing that Vince apparently hates is sneezing. A few WWE stars have joked about Vince and his dislike of sneezing because he can’t control it.
Jim Ross had this to say on his blog about Vince’s dislike of sneezing:
“Vince can’t control his sneezing, like all of us, and he doesn’t like things occurring that he can’t control. Many of us found it a source of humor.”
Another account from Paul Heyman in an interview with MMA Fighting:
“If you’re in the room with Vince McMahon and he sneezes, go on your Blackberry for the next 20 minutes because nothing you say to him is going to get through … Cause he gets really p—–d off. Cause he can’t control the sneeze.”
With the stories that have been told about Vince over the years, this has to be one of our favorites.
