Last week, it was announced by WWE that Toni Storm, Princesa Sugehit, Lacey Evans and Sarah Logan would be competing in the inaugural ‘Mae Young Classic’. For those unaware, this will be a tournament similar to the Cruiserweight Classic but will feature some of the top female athletes in the world.
WWE has confirmed 5 new names for the tournament. Here they are:
Tessa Blanchard
- Daughter of Tully Blanchard
- 21 years old
- Wrestled a few matches on NXT Television
Abbey Laith
- Better known as Kimber Lee
- Former Chikara Grand Champion
- Has appeared a few times on NXT Television
Taynara Conti
- Black belt in Judo.
- Competed in the 2016 Olympic trials in judo
Jazzy Gabert
- MMA Fighter
- Worked for TNA and Stardom
Kavita Devi
- first Indian woman wrestler to compete in WWE
- former powerlifter
