5 Reasons Why WrestleMania 33 Should Be The Undertaker’s Last Match

WrestleMania is the WWE’s biggest pay-per-view ever and one of the greatest spectacles in sports entertainment. One of the reasons for this is because of one man that defeated Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka at WrestleMania 7 and started the greatest streak in professional wrestling. I am talking about the “Deadman,” the “Phenom”, The Undertaker. In my opinion, his name is synonymous with WrestleMania. Ever since his first win at WrestleMania 7, he has continued a winning streak that has amazed every wrestling fan. After he lost at WrestleMania 30 to Brock Lesnar, everyone figured that The Undertaker was finished and that he was hanging up his boots for good. That was no longer the case, as he has competed at the last few WrestleMania’s.

With WrestleMania 33 approaching, fans are wondering if this will be The Undertaker’s last match.  Today, I’m going to bring some reasons as to why WrestleMania 33 should be The Undertaker’s last match.

1) Age and Health

At the age of 51, The Undertaker can still go in the ring. Although at the Royal Rumble, he showed his age quite a bit. He wasn’t a part of any “big” bumps, nor did he bump in general. Not only that, he also threw some light jabs and he just seemed out-of-place. Now grant it, he looks like he is in pretty good shape compared to when he returned for WrestleMania 30, where he looked like he was in poor health.

Speaking of which, while he seems in good health currently, The Undertaker is rumored to be putting off a hip replacement surgery until after he is done with WrestleMania. This is most likely the reason why he is not doing many bumps, he is kind of protected in that aspect which is understandable. If the WWE has to continue doing this for him, I personally do not believe that he can put on the quality of matches that he has put on prior.
