5 Reasons Why WWE Would Book John Cena vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania

At the time of writing this article, John Cena had recently called out the current United States champion Roman Reigns, in regards to a match between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns at a house show. You can check the occurrence here.

With the recent tweet made by the 15x World Champion, my immediate thoughts were a Cena vs Reigns match at WrestleMania. The match between these two was rumored last year, but never came to fruition.

The possibility of this match occurring sent most of the Internet wrestling community into a rampage, simply for everyone’s varying opinions. Will this ever happen? Will it be a good match? Let’s weigh out the possibilities, keeping in mind as to why the WWE would book this match.

1.) John Cena is the Man

Some people don’t like to admit it, but let’s face it, John Cena is THE man in WWE. His career has been quite remarkable, and has put on some great matches ever since he debuted during the Ruthless Aggression era in 2002, becoming one of SmackDown’s fastest rising stars.

Over his 14 year career, he has become a 15x World champion, almost tying Ric Flair’s record of being a 16x World champion. That is very impressive, on top of other matches he has had for the United States championship and the Tag Team championships. Like every debuting wrestler, John Cena had proved time and time again that he can hang with the best. He has quickly shifted into one of the biggest draws that the WWE has to offer.
