Best Hell In A Cell Matches In WWE History

4) Triple H vs. Cactus Jack

No Way Out 2000

Triple H defended his WWF Championship against Cactus Jack at No Mercy 2000. If Foley were to lose, his career would have been over. The stakes were high and they put on a show!

Many weapons were used in the match, including chairs and a 2×4 with barbed wire. One of the high points of the match was when the barbed wire was lit on fire. The biggest spot was when Triple H backdropped Cactus on the top of the cell. He went through the middle of the cell and even through the ring canvas. Triple H sealed his victory with a pedigree, ending the career of Mick Foley (who did end up returning a couple of months later).

Overall it was an awesome match. This match ranks so high on the list because it really helped prove that Triple H was a main event guy that deserved his place on the card. It will definitely go down as one of the most memorable cell matches ever.

3) Triple H vs. the Undertaker

Wrestlemania XXVIII

Triple H took on the Undertaker in a Hell in the Cell match at Wrestlemania XXVIII. Shawn Michaels was the special guest referee.

This match was incredible and featured many great moments and close calls. It looked at point that Undertaker would be defeated and his legendary streak broken when he was nailed by Sweet Chin Music followed by a pedigree. Undertaker kicked out to the shock of the crowd.

The Undertaker ended up winning the match with a Tombstone. What made the match so special was when the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels helped Triple H out of the ring and to the top of the ramp where all three men embraced. An incredible moment to top off an incredible match. You could argue that this is the best match of Triple H’s career.
