There have been some BAD matches in the history of professional wrestling. Below are the worst WWE matches that have taken place. The ratings are from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He usually ranks matches from 0 to 5 stars. Generally, a match has to be TERRIBLE to garner something in the negatives.
Worst WWE Matches Of All-Time
10) The Royal Family vs Clowns R’ Us (Survivor Series 1994)
Rating -2.5 Stars
At Survivor Series 1994, we saw a match between The Royal Family and Clowns R’Us. This was a 4-on-4 Survivor Series elimination match. Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler and Doink the Clown served as captains. They each captained a team of little people. Jerry had: Sleazy, Queasy and Cheesy on his team while Doink had: Dink, Pink, and Wink.
Even though it was a comedy match, I don’t think that too many fans were laughing. The Royal Family picked up the win but this match is not recommended.

9) Jake Roberts vs Andre The Giant (Wrestlemania V)
Rating: -3 Stars
Jake ‘the Snake’ Roberts faced off against Andre The Giant in a singles match at Wrestlemania V. Big John Studd served as the special guest referee for the match.
Andre had declined at this time, making him nearly unwatchable.
The match ended in disqualification after Andre choked out Studd. An odd finish and a very bad match.

8) Al Snow vs. The Big Boss Man (Unforgiven 1999)
Rating: -3 Stars
Al Snow faced off against the Big Boss Man in the infamous: ‘Kennel from Hell’ Match for the WWF Hardcore Championship. This took place at the Unforgiven PPV in 1999.
The match consisted of a steel cage surrounded by The Hell in a Cell cage. Dogs were around the ring within the cell. The first competitor to escape the steel cage and the Hell in a Cell would be the winner.
It was a disaster. The dogs were peeing and pooping on the outside of the ring. There was even an attempt to mate at ringside while the match was going on. The match is considered as one of the worst gimmick matches in professional wrestling history. It is u

7) Pat Patterson vs Gerald Brisco (King Of The Ring 2000)
Rating: -3 Stars
The infamous ‘Evening Gown Match’ took place at the 2000 edition of King of the Ring. Pat Patterson took on Gerald Brisco for the WWF Hardcore Championship.
Before the match event started, the crowd had already started booing and started to chant: “boring” and “bullsh*t”. The match was painful to watch and remains on many fans’ lists as one of the worst of all time. Not many fans were laughing when watching this, but you can bet that Vince McMahon was backstage.
Crash Holly put us out of our misery by interfering using the 24/7 rule to win the title. Thank you Crash. This was a bad match and not one that you would want to watch again.

6) Finlay and Little Bastard vs The Boogeyman and Little Boogeyman (No Way Out 2007)
Rating: -3 Stars
The 2007 edition of No Way Out saw a mixed tag team match: Finlay and Little Bastard vs The Boogeyman and Little Boogeyman.
Other than maybe the WeeLC match at Extreme Rules 2014, WWE seems to do an awful job when using little people. The Royal Family vs Clowns R’Us match made the list earlier and now we have this one.
Not much to say really about this match other than it is not great. Finlay hit Little Boogeyman with the shillelagh to pick up the victory.

5) The Miz vs Damian Priest (Wrestlemania Backlash 2021)
Rating: -3 Stars
The Miz and Damian Priest faced off in a Lumberjack match at Wrestlemania Backlash. Instead of Superstars surrounding the ring, the lumberjacks were zombies.
This match was done in order to promote the movie, Army of the Dead. It was essentially a giant advertisement for the movie, much to the dismay of a lot of fans.
Priest went on to win and The Miz was eaten by the Zombies to end the segment.

4) The Ultimate Warrior vs Goldust (In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies)
Rating: -3.5 Stars
The Ultimate Warrior took on Goldust at the WWF In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies event. This match was for the Intercontinental Championship.
Goldust spent the first several minutes of the match avoiding Warrior as he didn’t want to face him. After about 7 minutes, Warrior hit Goldust with a clothesline, which caused him to roll out of the ring. Goldust was counted out and retained his title.
A waste of 8 minutes of your life if you choose to watch this as nothing really happens.
This match received -3.5 stars from Meltzer and deserves it.
3) The Bushwhackers vs The Fabulous Rougeaus (Wrestlemania V)
Rating: -4 Stars
The Bushwhackers faced The Fabulous Rougeaus in a tag team match at Wrestlemania V. Not much to say about this one other than it was not a great match.
At one point, Jesse Ventura says, “I have yet to see a wrestling hold in this match.”. Pretty much sums up the first half of the match.
The match included the very strange moment where Raymond Rougeau picked up Luke for a bodyslam. Luke decided to fondle him while in the air for the body slam. This was a mess and not a match that I would reccomend.

2) The Junkyard Dog vs Moondog Spot (The Wrestling Classic 1985)
Rating: -5 Stars
The Wrestling Classic took place on November 7th, 1985, at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago. The event consisted of a 16-man single-elimination tournament.
One of the second round matches has been rated by Meltzer as one of the two worst matches of all-time. That would be the second round match between Moondog Spot and Junkyard Dog.
The match lasted only 45 seconds but it was about as bad as a wrestling match can be. To top it off, there was no referee. Junkyard Dog counted the three for himself, which was apparently allowed. It was bizarre and awful.

1) Mr. T vs Roddy Piper (Wrestlemania 2)
Rating: -5 Stars
Mr. T and Roddy Piper faced off in a boxing match at Wrestlemania 2. It turns out that one of the worst matches in wrestling history was actually a boxing match.
So why did this match suck? Both Piper and Mr. T ran out of gas early. The punches sucked and it was essentially a giant waste of time.
Meltzer ranks it as one of the two worst matches in WWE history with -5 stars.
