WWE recently released a new video titled: “6 AJ Styles matches we wish we could see”. As the title suggests, the video lists off several dream matches for AJ Styles if he would have been in WWE earlier than 2016.
Here is what the video lists as dream matches for Styles in WWE (and there are some good one):
AJ Styles vs Shawn Michaels
- A match that AJ has spoken on several occasions about wanting.
AJ Styles vs Bret Hart
- A battle of who is the ‘best that ever will be’.
- Note: This was a bit of an odd one since Bret retired in 2000. Still a dream match though.
AJ Styles vs Rey Mysterio
- Both were members of the WCW Cruiserweight division back in the day. Both went on to become World Champions in WWE.
AJ Styles vs Ric Flair
- Video suggests AJ reversing the ‘Figure 4 Leglock’ into a ‘Styles Clash’.
AJ Styles vs the Rock
- Video suggests AJ vs the Rock on the mic would be fantastic.
AJ Styles vs Edge
- A ladder match for the ages
