Big Cass Injury Update

Big Cass faced off against Enzo Amore in a ‘Brooklyn Street Fight’ this week on Monday Night RAW. The match had to be stopped after Cass suffered a legitimate knee injury. A video of Cass after the match looked very bad and fans feared the worst. Some fans even thought that it might be a work.

We have some very bad news to report on the Big Cass injury front. This comes in an update from WWE.com.

Big Cass tore his ACL and possibly suffered a medial meniscus tear. He will be having surgery this week. Here is an excerpt from the article:

“An initial MRI of Big Cass’ left knee shows that he will require surgery.

“It looks like he has an ACL tear, possibly a medial meniscus tear, but we’re going to wait for the radiologist to evaluate the MRI and give us their full report,” WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson said.

The seven-footer will be undergoing surgery this week to repair the damage, which will be the start of a long road back to the squared circle.

“A typical ACL tear takes about nine months [to recover from],” Robinson said”

Horrible news that will keep Cass out for a long time. Never like to see someone get hurt.
