Jerry Lawler Explains Why He Was Disappointed With The ‘House Of Horrors’ Match

Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler recently put out a new episode of his podcast: Dinner With The King. He answered a wide variety of fan questions on the episode. He was asked about the ‘House Of Horrors’ match that took place between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt at Payback.

Jerry says that he was very excited about the match because of his love of horror movies.

“I was so looking forward to the ‘House of Horrors’ match because I’m such a big horror movie fan. I’m such a fan of these kind of things. I was really, really excited about this.”

He says that he ended up being disappointed in the match because he expected it to be a lot scarier than it turned out to be:

“The WWE, they have the opportunity and they have the people to put together some really great special effects. I guess my problem was I got my expectations up too high. I guess I expected more scary stuff. I’m not scared of baby dolls.”
