Kevin Owens recently participated in a conference call to promote the 2017 Royal Rumble. During the call, he spoke on a wide variety of topics. Some of the highlights were him discussing Shinsuke Nakamura and the Undertaker. Below is what he said.
Owens says Shinsuka Nakamura belongs in the main event of Wrestlemania:
“I think if you look at NXT, the one guy who seems like he would belong in a WrestleMania main event is Nakamura, because of the aura and the buzz that he gets. He is able to grab the attention of people who don’t really know who he is right away with his mannerisms and entrance – by the time he gets to the ring, you are kind of hooked.”
On wanting to wrestle the Undertaker:
“If I had to narrow it down to one it would be The Undertaker. He is synonymous with that event and I was always in awe of him – as a kid, teenager and adult.”

Our Take: Hard to argue with him about Nakamura. No doubt in my mind he could be in the main event of Wrestlemania this year. I would also love to see a match between Kevin Owens and the Undertaker. I think Owens would be able to do a good job in selling the match on the microphone.
