No Mercy 2017 Predictions – 6 Potential Finishes For Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman

One of the biggest matches at the No Mercy Pay-Per-View will be the Universal Title match. Braun Strowman will challenge Brock Lesnar in a clash of the monsters of WWE. Potential Finish #1

 Brock Lesnar Wins Clean

We will start with the most obvious potential finish for the match between Strowman and Lesnar. Rumors have been floating around that Brock will hold on to the title until Wrestlemania 34, where he will eventually be defeated by Roman Reigns.

WWE has done a great job of building up Strowman as a legitimate challenger for Brock. Brock even looks like the underdog in this feud based on Strowman’s size and strength.

Still, we saw WWE build up Samoa Joe very well for the Great Balls Of Fire Pay-Per-View and he still lost clean. It could be a similar situation with Strowman on Sunday.

I am not sure if WWE wants to go this route as it might take away some of the momentum that Strowman has at the moment. Still, if WWE has their mind set on Lesnar holding the title until Wrestlemania, there is a very strong possibility that he wins clean on Sunday.

Potential Finish #2

The Match Ends In A Double Count-Out

If WWE does not want Lesnar beating Strowman clean, they have a few options. One of these options would be to have neither of them win the match.

Strowman vs Lesnar has been advertised as a clash between the giants of WWE. Wouldn’t it be a fitting finish if it ended in complete destruction? Make the match end in a double count-out after they both beat the hell out of each other and are unable to make it back to their feet.

Here are some reasons why it would make sense for WWE to go this route:

  • Neither Lesnar or Strowman have to take a loss.
  • The title can stay on Lesnar to continue with WWE’s long-term plans.
  • Sets up an even bigger rematch between them at another Pay-Per-View
  • Really puts over the fact that they are monsters and would make them both look good.

Have these monsters beat each other up and end the show with complete carnage. It seems like a good idea if they want to protect both guys.
