September 27th Smackdown LIVE Viewership Numbers Are In: Were They Able To Beat RAW?

The September 27th Smackdown LIVE featured a WWE World Championship main event. AJ Styles defended his belt against Dean Ambrose, with John Cena at ringside. The show also featured some build for the WWE No Mercy PPV next month. Was it strong enough to beat RAW this week?

The September 27th Smackdown LIVE drew 2.340 million viewers. This is up from the last week where they drew 2.292 million viewers.

This was not enough to beat RAW, that drew the lowest number in the shows history: 2.478 million viewers.

I fully expected Smackdown to win this week, especially after a solid show and Monday Night RAW in tough against the Presidential debate and Football. Smackdown continues to put on solid shows, with a majority of fans (at least that I have talked to) preferring this weeks Smackdown episode over RAW.
