Shinsuke Nakamura – Who He Wants To Face On Smackdown Live, “Finally” Getting Called Up

Shinsuke Nakamura made headlines when he interrupted the Miz on Smackdown Live several weeks ago on the episode after Wrestlemania 33. The ‘King Of Strong Style’ has officially arrived to the main roster and fans of his couldn’t be happier.

Nakamura was recently interviewed by Yahoo Japan. He spoke on a wide variety of topics about his recent call-up to the WWE main roster and his time in NXT. Here are some highlights:

On finally being called up from NXT:

“There is a sense of “finally” getting called up but I feel like I was able to come here because I established myself for a year in NXT. I feel I was able to achieve everything I could in NXT. I accepted being placed in NXT as a challenge to improve myself which I did”

On facing Dolph Ziggler:

“As you can see, I might be bigger but he is more agile and has wrestling fundamentals and technique that you are able to put your trust in”

On who he wants to face on Smackdown Live:

“AJ Styles. We have both grown since joining WWE and I look forward to facing him again. Also, Randy Orton and John Cena, as someone of the same generation as them, I feel like we need to meet”
