10 Things That We Learned From This Weeks Episode of Smackdown Live (February 21, 2017)

1) Naomi Relinquished The Title

This weeks episode of Smackdown Live was kicked off by General Manager: Daniel Bryan who came out to a very loud reception from the crowd.

He says that there are a lot of twists and turns on the road to Wrestlemania. He brought out Smackdown Women’s Champion: Naomi, who was noticeably injured as she came down to the ring.

Bryan told Naomi that she had to drop the title because she is unable to defend it in the required 30 days. Naomi gave the title with tears in her eyes and says that she will be back:

Sad way to kick-off Smackdown. Naomi finally achieved her dream only to have it taken away from her so quickly. We wish her quick recovery and we hope that she can make Wrestlemania 33 in her hometown of Orlando, Florida.
