One of the biggest stories coming out of No Mercy was about Cesaro. In case you missed it, during the RAW Tag Team Title match, Cesaro smashed his face on the ring-post. It was clearly visible from the camera during the match that he had cracked a couple of his front teeth. (Update, his teeth were not cracked, it was more gruesome)
Cesaro was able to finish the match. What was the backstage reaction?
On the Wrestling INC podcast, former WWE star Matt Morgan revealed that Cesaro received a standing ovation backstage after the match from the WWE locker room and employees:
“I texted one of my buddies who wasn’t on the Pay-Per-View tonight, and he got a standing O”
