Wrestlers Court Stories From Backstage WWE

You might have heard about the legendary Wrestlers Court that takes place behind the scenes of WWE. The Undertaker typically acts as the judge and wrestlers settle disputes with one another. Some of the stories are hilarious and some are downright mean. Here is a collection of some of the best stories from WWE’s version of a Kangaroo court.

Wrestlers Court Stories From Backstage WWE

10) The Hardy Boyz Steal Kane’s Seat

In 1999, the Hardy Boyz were managed by Michael ‘PS’ Hayes. The duo won their first tag team championships after defeating the APA.

After they won the belts, Hayes insisted that they sit in first class on the plane ride home. The problem was, they ended up taking the spot of Kane, who was forced to sit in coach. Kane didn’t say anything but word made it back to the boys that the rookie Hardy Boyz had taken the seat of the veteran Kane. They were forced to go to Wrestlers court to explain themselves.

From their book – The Hardy Boyz: Exist 2 Inspire, Matt tells the story about what it was like to face the court.

“We got to the next house show and Bradshaw told us, ‘You guys have been sentenced to Wrestler’s Court. Your trial is set for next week at Raw.’ Wrestler’s Court is exactly what it sounds like. All the wrestlers gather in the locker room, and they hold a mock trial. Taker is the judge and Bradshaw is the prosecuting attorney. It’s pretty scary, because once you get up there on the stand, everybody’s against you”

Matt and Jeff got off easy, only having to buy Kane dinner for the mistake as it was ruled to be the fault of Hayes and not theirs.

Hayes, on the other hand, was forced to carry Kane’s bags for a week.

9) Mick Foley And Al Snow Leave Hardcore Holly Stranded

A great story involves Mick Foley, Al Snow, and Hardcore Holly. It has to do with the time that Foley and Snow left Holly stranded at an airport.

In his book: The Hardcore Truth: The Bob Holly Story, Holly tells the story. He says that Foley and Snow convinced him to ride with them in order to save money. He eventually agreed and brought back his rental car and waited for Foley to pick him up at the airport

There was some miscommunication. Foley and Snow ended up going to a carnival and thought that Holly was meeting them there. Holly ended up waiting at the airport for over an hour for the duo until he got his rental car back and drove himself to the next live event.

Foley and Snow were taken to Wrestlers court by Holly and some of the rest of the guys who felt it was disrespectful to leave one of the boys stranded. As usual, the Undertaker was the judge of the case.

Snow didn’t want anything to do with it and just offered $500 to Holly to reimburse him for what he had to spend. Foley insisted that he did nothing wrong and faced the court.

As a result, Foley was found guilty and ordered to pay for Holly’s hotel, food and gas expenses. He says that even when Foley was handing him the money, he kept saying that he didn’t do anything wrong.

Some Hardcore justice was served.
