Money In The Bank Facts That You Didn’t Know

The WWE recently posted a video from Corey Graves that featured 11 Money In The Bank Facts that they didn’t think you would know. Here was the list:

On average Money in the Bank winners hold onto the briefcase for 106.5 days.

Edge waited the longest to cash-in his Money in The Bank contract at 280 days. Seth Rollins was close after holding onto his for 273 days before cashing in at Wrestlemania 31.

Kane holds the record for the shortest cash-in after he cashed in on the same night he won the briefcase.

Kane has appeared in the most Money In The Bank ladder matches with 7 appearances (out of a possible 16). Christian and Kofi Kingston are behind by 1 with 6 appearances each. Dolph Ziggler and Shelton Benjamin have 5. This Sunday will be Jericho’s 5th total but he has never won.

50 WWE superstars total have competed in the match. Including 3 WWE Hall of Famers: Ric Flair, Booker T and Edge. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are rookies this year.

Damien Sandow and John Cena are the only 2 WWE stars who have won the Money In The Bank briefcase but lost their cash-in attempt match.
