WWE News: Goldberg Comments On Being ‘Miserable’ In His Current Run With WWE

Goldberg was the first guest on Edge and Christian’s podcast: ‘E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness’. During the interview, he spoke a lot about his current run with WWE. One of the most interesting parts was when he told Edge and Christian that he was ‘miserable’.

Why is he miserable? Getting back into peak shape has not been an easy task for the 50-year-old Goldberg, but he says that his family is having a lot of fun and it is worth it:

“I’ll be honest, I’m miserable. I’m absolutely miserable. But my family’s having fun, man. And so, every single thing, every training session, every ART massage that makes me cry, every muay thai session, it’s all worth it, man. It’s just worth it. And, hey, at the end of the day, if I want to smile, I’ll buy a car. That’s how I’m happy. I did, I bought one on the way back from Toronto because I worked my a** off.”

He continued, saying that being miserable is a small price to pay:

“Nobody get me wrong when I say I’ve been miserable throughout this, but I am. I’m miserable. I’m bloated 24 hours a day. I’m stressed 24 hours a day. I don’t sleep, but it’s a small price to pay.”

We have to think that this means Goldberg is retiring after Wrestlemania 33. I can’t see him wanting to keep that up much longer. Have to appreciate all the work that he has done at his age to come back.
