WWE News: WWE Snubs CM Punk In Recent Poll

Something that a lot of fans noticed about one of WWE’s newest polls over on WWE.com is the omission of CM Punk. The poll was asking fans what their choice would be for their favorite Wrestlemania match that involved the Undertaker.

Many fans spotted one match that stuck out. Every match that the Undertaker had competed in (at Wrestlemania) was listed with the event and his opponent. The only opponent that wasn’t listed was CM Punk, who faced off against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXIX.

You can still vote for the match, just it is missing the name of CM Punk. You can see a screenshot of the poll here:

After you have finished voting it says that they will let fans know for a future WWE Network collection (without showing the results)…. Safe to say it won’t be CM Punk, regardless of how many votes that he receives.

I guess this answers the questions if there is any hard feelings between WWE and CM Punk. This comes only a week after both Stephanie McMahon and Triple H took shots at CM Punk on the RAW in Chicago.

A Bizarre move by WWE… Doesn’t this make you just want to vote for Punk because of how strange it is. Let us know what you think in the comment section below.

  1. god, I wish WWE could swallow their pride. call the man up, apologize, give him a good money deal where he only works TV and PPVs (no need for him to work house shows anymore). and watch your ratings, subscriptions and interest rise. they could be making good money w/ him, but they’re too prideful and too testosterone driven to admit that he helps their bottom line. they want soooo bad to prove that they don’t need him. and they’ve proven that time and time again… but if they want to put forth the best product they can, they would set aside their differences and bury the hatchet. im pretty sure at this stage punk would listen to offers and ideas… but WWE has this hard-on about hoisting power over their employees. and they aren’t willing to leverage anything over a modicum of power and popularity. they want all their employees to kiss the ring.
