WWE Rumor: Possible NXT Call-Up To Main Roster After Absence From Recent Taping

NXT taped their shows for March this past week at Full Sail University. The shows will air next month and lead into the NXT Takeover: Orlando show. If you checked out the spoilers for the event, you might have caught a big absence from the taping, which means a possible call-up to the main roster.

It was reported a few weeks ago by PWInsider.com that Hideo Itami was cleared to compete. Itami had suffered a neck injury following a botched powerslam at an NXT live event (you can watch the video here).

Itami also tweeted a few weeks ago that he was ready and that he would see the NXT fans soon:

This hasn’t happened yet and from the spoilers for the next NXT taping, he is being left off of NXT shows. So what is happening with Hideo?

It is being rumored that Itami could be making the jump to the WWE main roster instead of going back to NXT. Itami has had a few injury setbacks while in NXT and hasn’t been able to reach his full potential. WWE has possibly decided that enough is enough and it is time to bring him up.

Don’t be surprised to see Itami in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal or on the RAW after Wrestlemania.
