Finn Balor was announced as one of the competitors in the Fatal 5-way match at Extreme Rules that will determine the next challenger for Brock Lesnar’s WWE Universal Title. He will face off against Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe.
Since returning from injury on the RAW after Wrestlemania 33, fans have not seen Balor’s ‘Demon King’ persona.
Finn Balor’s Facebook page recently teased that we could be seeing the ‘Demon King’ persona at Extreme Rules, saying: “Come WWE Extreme Rules, it will be every man and demon for himself!”
This has got a lot of fans talking about the persona coming in for the match. We have seen in the past on NXT and on the WWE main roster that Balor only uses this persona in big matches and moments. Extreme Rules and a chance to win his Universal Title back would qualify as a big match.

If Balor is going to be challenging Brock for the WWE Universal Title, he is going to need all the help that he can get. The ‘Demon King’ persona could be WWE’s way to add some extra spice into a Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar match.
