Finn Balor’s Role At Wrestlemania 33

One of the biggest questions that WWE fans have had over the past few weeks is ‘where the heck is Finn Balor’? Balor suffered a torn labrum during his Summerslam match against Seth Rollins. He has been rehabbing for the past several months and has been cleared to return.

Balor has wrestled at several WWE live events over the past few weeks, proving that he is healed up and ready to go. So why the heck isn’t he being used on WWE television?

There are two rumors floating around when it comes to Finn Balor and Wrestlemania 33.

The first is that he was the back-up plan to face Triple H in case Seth Rollins was not able to compete at Wrestlemania. As we have seen over the past few weeks, Seth looks good to go and will be facing Triple H in a ‘non-sanctioned match’ at the event.

The second rumor is that Balor will be making an appearance at Wrestlemania as the equalizer to Samoa Joe. There is no doubt that Joe will play a role in the Triple H-Seth Rollins match. If the rumor is true, Balor will appear to take out Joe and even the odds.

If this turns out to be true, the reason why WWE has kept Balor off TV is because they are planning a cool moment at Wrestlemania with him. Triple H also teased something with Balor at a recent live event:

We will have to wait and see but this has potential to be a pretty cool return if it ends up happening. Reminder as always to take rumors with a grain of salt.
