It was rumored a few weeks ago that London was among the cities that were being considered to host Wrestlemania 35. This rumor had many fans excited about the possibility of the big event heading to the United Kingdom for the first time.
There were also two more cities mentioned in the original report alongside London.
Where Could The Event Be Held?
One city that is rumored to be in discussion is New York. The city and surrounding areas have hosted several Wrestlemania’s in the past. Vince McMahon loves the city of New York and it is certainly a possibility.
The second name that was mentioned in the rumors was Toronto. The city hosted Wrestlemania VI and 18 in the past. The city also recently hosted Survivor Series weekend.
London, Toronto and New York were also listed in the June 26th, 2017 Wrestling Observer Newsletter as potential locations for the event.
It is very early so make sure to take with a grain of salt. Great to see cities like London and Toronto at least in the conversation to be potential hosts.
