Sheamus & Cesaro defeated the Hardy Boyz at Extreme Rules to win the RAW tag team Championships. It is clear that these two teams will (likely) face off at the ‘Great Balls Of Fire’ Pay-Per-View for the titles, even though it hasn’t been officially announced.
So what are the plans for Sheamus & Cesaro’s tag team title reign? We might have gotten a hint on this week’s episode of RAW.
During RAW in Los Angeles, WWE had actor: Josh Duhamel on commentary. It was revealed that Sheamus would be filming a new movie with Duhamel titled: ‘the Buddy Games’. Sheamus has appeared in several movies in the past, including the latest ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ movie.
Deadline reports that ‘the Buddy Games’ will begin filming in August. This will likely mean that Sheamus will have to take some time off from WWE Television. It could also be an indicator that him and Cesaro will be dropping the belts at ‘Great Balls of Fire’ or sometime in August before he leaves.
Rumors suggest that Sheamus could be off WWE television for 6 weeks to film. This all to us seems like a hint that they will be losing the titles within the next month.
