Winner Of The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

On the March 7th episode of Smackdown Live, Mojo Rawley announced that he would be entering this year Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He is in search of his own Wrestlemania moment. On Talking Smack, Apollo Crews also announced his intentions to enter the match.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is a way for the WWE to get their roster onto the Wrestlemania card if they are not involved in a big-time match. It can help someone’s career, similar to Baron Corbin winning from NXT and giving him a boost as he moved up to WWE’s main roster.

There are some rumors circulating that this year’s Battle Royal could be a display of dominance from Braun Strowman. This would include him being the likely winner.

Let us explain

WWE has built up Strowman as a monster over the past year, squashing almost every opponent that he has stepped inside of the ring with. He suffered his first loss to Roman Reigns at Fastlane, leaving him without any (likely) plans for Wrestlemania.

Rumors suggest that this year’s Battle Royal could be a showcase for Strowman. This will be to try and build him back up after losing to Reigns. If Strowman enters the match, expect him to be the winner. Also, expect him to put on a dominant performance (piling up a lot of eliminations along the way). This would be a nice rebound from his loss at Fastlane.

Adding Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner to his resume will look pretty good.

As always, rumors should be taken with a grain of salt.
