Zack Ryder Comments On His Roller Coaster Of a WWE Career After WWE Payback

One month after his amazing WrestleMania moment where he won the Intercontinental title, Zack Ryder wasn’t even in the building for WWE Payback. Zack Ryder has certainly had plenty of ups and downs throughout his WWE career and he can’t seem to stick full-time on the roster. It was thought that after he won at WrestleMania 32, he would finally be getting a deserved push. It appears like this was wrong and he is back to pulling double duties for NXT and the main roster. In a recent Instagram post, Zack Ryder reflected on the Roller Coaster ride that has been his WWE career:

Here was the post:

“My @WWE career has been the ultimate rollercoaster ride…full of highs & lows. Last month at #WrestleMania I won the Intercontinental Championship. Tonight at Payback I’m not even in the arena. That just motivates me to work even harder. I’ve experienced the lowest of lows. I won’t stop until I experience the highest of highs…winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. #WWEPayback” (Source: Instagram).

Have to feel for Zack Ryder. I feel like the WWE just constantly screws him around. Why have him win the title at WrestleMania just to have him lose it the next night to the Miz? I get that it was a great WrestleMania moment but kind of sucks for him having it taken away the VERY next night.

Unless the WWE is building him for some underdog type story in the future, it seems like Ryder has been treated poorly by the WWE. I wish him the best and hope he sticks with the main roster soon!

  1. Vinny Mac is his own worst enemy. People love Zack Ryder. If he was to finally get a decent push the rewards would be good for both WWE and Ryder. I think his merch would sell well and more viewers would tune in, or at least stay tuned in longer.
