Steve Austin Says The WWE Should Strap A Rocket To AJ Styles And Push Him To The Moon

WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin has been incredibly impressed with AJ Styles so far in his short WWE career. Since making his debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, Styles has feuded with Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns and now John Cena….. Not a bad start to his WWE career. In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Steve Austin says the WWE has found gold with Styles and they should push him to the moon.

Steve on AJ’s last two matches with Roman Reigns and pushing him moving forward:

“AJ Styles just carried Roman Reigns to two world class matches back-to-back. The second one wasn’t as good as the first, but it’s hard to top an all-time classic. Reigns carried his end, but that was all AJ. They keep beating that f—— kid, and they’ve got a potential superstar on their hands. He’s only been working 16, 18 years, f—, he’s got it figured out. Put a rocket on his ass and send him to the moon. I would love to see them run with Styles. I called him over the last time I saw him, which was before he got into that string of really good matches, and we’d never met. I said, ‘Hey man, good luck” (Source: Sports Illustrated).

Austin says he wants to see AJ cash in for his years of hard work outside of the WWE: 

“When you see guys like that–who have been around the world and are veterans, you want them to finally get paid. He’s paid a million dues and he ain’t made no money. I want to see the kid go out and have a seven-figure year finally” (Source: Sports Illustrated).

I agree with Steve here! I think a huge step for AJ would be if he was able to beat John Cena at Money in the Bank. I know many fans will doubt that happening but I think it sets up AJ perfectly heading into the Brand Split. AJ is coming off two losses and eventually he HAS to pick up a win. What better way than against John Cena?
