Jericho says he invented the Money In The Bank ladder match, coming up with the idea for WrestleMania 21. At first he imagined the match as a contract where the winner could cash in the next night on RAW. Since that match it has elevated into a briefcase and being able to cash in whenever you want.
Coach challenges if he really invented the match and he was greeted by a ‘You Stupid Idiot’ line from Jericho.
He says it is a very exciting and fun match but it is also very dangerous. He says ladders don’t play well with others and sometimes bite.
He says he wanted to be a part of the biggest WrestleMania ever since he heard it would be in Dallas. He says he took extra pride because it was with AJ Styles. He says that AJ Styles came into the WWE as a relatively unknown and 2 months later they put on a great match at WrestleMania 32 where they tore the house down. He says the very next night Styles became the number one contender for the WWE Heavyweight championship and has been on a heck of a journey since his debut.

He says all of the guys in the Money In The Bank ladder match with him (Cesaro, Del Rio, Owens, Zayn, Ambrose) are great stars in different spots in their careers. He says specifically Kevin Owens is very special and he sees a big future for him. He also mentions Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura as guys he thinks are going to make a big impact. Along with AJ Styles, these are the guys he is looking forward to watching as a fan when he retires.
He says his match at Wrestlemania XIX against Shawn Michaels will always be special to him because HBK was a hero to him growing up. Than he became a per of his, than he became a friend. It was the first time they had ever been in the ring together ever, no practice match. He says they had perfect chemistry and that is very rare to find.
He says that people forget how good of a worker and a wrestler the Rock is because he has been gone for so long. He says him and the Rock had a lot of fun going against each other on the mic.
Jericho jokes at the end of the interview why Coach didn’t ask him about his scarf because it is expensive.
