Dean Ambrose Comments On Cashing In His MITB Briefcase On The Same Night He Won It
Unless you have been living under a rock, you would know that Dean Ambrose had an amazing night this past Sunday at WWE Money In The Bank. He first won the Money In The Bank Ladder Match where he guaranteed himself a title shot for the WWE Championship at some point. Most people who win the briefcase (such as Seth Rollins) wait for a long amount of time before they cash-in. Dean waited only an hour or so before he cashed in his contract during the main event between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins where he ultimately ended up walking out with the title.

In a recent in interview with 98.5 The Sports Hub, Ambrose said he would have also cashed in on his old buddy Roman Reigns if he was the one with the belt at the time He says he didn’t want to hold onto the briefcase for a long period of time:
“Here’s the thing: I’m prone to losing things. I lose my keys and my sunglasses and my hat, I’ll lose my shoes. I lose everything. So the thought of carrying that briefcase around for a year, in the airport and going from hotel to hotel and building to building carrying around that ridiculous briefcase, I was like, ‘I’m gonna lose this thing. There’s no way I’m going to be able to keep track of this friggin thing for six months or a year, let’s just get to it tonight and let’s get this sucker out of my hands and get something else in my hands” (Source: 98.5 The Sports Hub).

I am split on this one. I actually kind of enjoyed the aspect of the briefcase looming over every title match with a chance to cash in on any night. It makes me think if for the Brand Split next year the WWE will bring back the RAW and Smackdown Money In The Bank contracts?
