Vince Russo Talks Having ZERO Confidence In Vince McMahon’s Creative For Upcoming WWE Brand Split.
With the upcoming WWE Brand Split, Vince McMahon and company will be tasked with running two strong shows every single week. Former WWE (and WCW) writer Vince Russo does not have any confidence that McMahon can pull it out. In a recent interview with WrestleZone Radio, Russo doubts the WWE will be able to pull off 2 shows with the current product they are putting out now.

Here is what he said:
“Let me say this, first of all, I like the three guys up top right now. I like what they are doing with The SHIELD. I like those three guys up top. I really do. Here is the problem, based on what I have seen in the last two years. I’ve watched RAW every single week for the last two years. I do consider myself an authority on the show. I have no confidence whatsoever in the creative of one Vincent Kennedy McMahon. None. Zero. Over the last few years he’s shown me absolutely nothing. There hasn’t been a “HOLY CRAP!” moment for me in the last two years. I have zero confidence in his booking. I have zero confidence in his creative” (Source: Wrestlezone Daily).

Russo continued:
“I can’t imagine we are going to take a lackluster RAW product and turn it in to two tremendous shows that we are just going to be pulled out of thin air. When, quite frankly, the shows have been absolutely horrible. If they brought in a new team of writers? I mean, ok. I’ll give them a shot. I’ll sit back. I’ll watch what they do. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. If it stays under Vince’s thumb I just don’t see how we are going to go from two years of mediocrity to two can’t miss television shows. I just don’t think that’s possible” (Source: Wrestlezone Daily).
