WWE Drops ‘Balor Club’ Trademark

WWE Drops ‘Balor Club’ Trademark.

According to PWInsider, the WWE has dropped their ‘Balor Club’ trademark application on June 22nd. The WWE was apparently in a debate with Baylor University in Texas over the term. The ‘Baylor Club’ is a section in the University’s McLane Stadium. It is not clear if this is the only reason why the WWE dropped their application or they just aren’t going to use it anymore.

Original reports prior to the debut of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were that they would join Finn Balor to form the ‘Balor Club’. This obviously didn’t happen and Anderson/Gallows are now paired with AJ Styles as simply ‘The Club’.

Finn Balor also has been rocking gear that says: ‘Bulletproof Balor Club’ that lead many to believe that a future faction could be called ‘Bulletproof’ which is an obvious play off of the Bullet Club.

I guess we will have to wait and see how it plays out!
