CM Punk Comments On If He Will Ever Return To The WWE Or Professional Wrestling.
CM Punk is set to take on Mickey Gall at UFC 203. It will be his UFC fight since he signed with the company in 2014 as injuries have forced him to keep delaying his octagon debut. Until he dies, there will likely be wrestling fans asking when he will return to the wrestling ring. In an interview with ESPN’s Russillo & Kanell Show, Punk spoke about a wide variety of topics.

Will he ever return to professional wrestling one day?:
“No, I don’t think so. But it is one of those “never say never” things. I like to cover all my bases, just so some internet dweeb is going to be like, ‘you said you’d never wrestle again!’ But WWE? No. Absolutely not. But you never know, I could pop up here and there” (ESPN’s Russillo & Kanell Show).

Punk went into more details about what he means (before we start the CM Punk to NJPW rumors):
“Let me explain that to you even better… it’s not going to even be televised, it’s going to be me in a ninja f–king outfit wrestling one of my buddies and nobody’s ever going to know. It’s going to be very ‘Monty Python’ so to speak” (ESPN’s Russillo & Kanell Show).
Interesting comments from Punk. Not surprising that he says he will never return to the WWE after the break-up him and the company had when he left a couple years ago.

It is professional wrestling though and never say never. Not anytime soon, or in the next couple years, but I would bet we see him back in the ring one day.
