CM Punk and Ryback have had an interesting relationship. It all began when Punk appeared on Colt Cabana’s Art Of Wrestling podcast back in 2014 after he departed from the WWE. He was very open with the way he was treated during his time with the company and ripped a lot of people in the WWE. One of these people was Ryback who Punk called extremely dangerous and claimed was trying to injure (or was just careless with) him when they worked together. Punk even mentioned in the podcast that he thinks Ryback took ’20 years off his life’ because of his carelessness.

The two have traded shots back and forth over the past couple years. Ryback decided to throw another about Punk after his recent nose surgery:

Ryback is currently sitting out and waiting for his WWE contract to expire after making some comments a couple months ago about equal wrestler pay in the WWE.

If I recall correctly there is currently still a lawsuit going on between Punk and the WWE based on his comments on the podcast.
