Kevin Owens won the WWE Universal Championship this past week on RAW. Triple H returned and took out both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, allowing Owens to pick up the win. Many fans have been talking about the moment as one of the best in recent memory. Not everyone was happy about it though.

Former WWE star Paul London was a guest on the Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling. During the interview he rips Triple H for his interference in the main event.
Here is what London said:
“The thing that really kind of disgusts me is Kevin Steen (Owens) who is one of my favorite people in the world and it really disgusts me is to see Triple H with his phony, fat smile draping all over Kevin Steen and saying that I believed in this guy all along. You know the body-builder, “the game” himself, Mr. Arnold Classic, Mr. Shredded is now super endorsing this non body-builder and who is kind of the anti-pro wrestler if you think about it (and from an attitude standpoint Kevin is amazing) but from that ideal WWE body that they valued and cherished for decades, he doesn’t fit the mold and I love that about him because cookie-cutter is boring. But I just think that this Hunter feigning over him is bullsh*t. It is just that, I think it is bullish*t. I think Hunter just does that to keep himself relevant at these new guys expense. It is almost like he is trying to give himself a rub off of these guys and it disgusts me” (Source: Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling).

Pretty sure it was always Vince’s fetish that had one body type always near the top not HHH’s.
As far as I know HHH has always been behind Owens.

NXT is Triple H’s baby and he has hired many different body types because of the influence that Dusty Rhodes had on him. Vince likes the muscle bodies and everybody to look like clones. Triple H is a very smart wrestler and Booker. He has created a minor league system that in many ways is more interesting than the main shows. He has complete creative control and without him giving wrestlers a chance who are not the typical body type he has ensured the WWE’s future. They get an opportunity in NXT to work and prove they belong. London weighs the same amount as Finn Balor, but Finn Balor got pushed all the way to the top and given the belt at a hundred and ninety pounds. London without Brian Kendrick is nobody. Easy to criticize when you’re a failure who only managed to get the tag team titles because the crowd likes you and tag team wrestlers can be smaller. Another interesting fact other than his stint in TNA Brian Kendrick has been training wrestlers 4 WWE also his latest project Eva Marie has yet to do anything. London’s the one wrestling in bingo halls
Triple H has always been behind Kevin Owens as far as I’ve seen. Wasn’t Kevin considered one of Hunter’s new “Kliq” guys, along with Balor and Itami?
