We last saw the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32, when he defeated Shane McMahon at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. There has been some speculation that ‘Taker might have hung up the boots already, but until anything is official, we will assume that he is returning for Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando, Florida. Below are some potential opponents for the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33.

The Undertaker vs John Cena.
- This is the match that is probably the highest on most readers lists. Two guys who have been the main stays of the WWE for over a decade. When looking back at the Undertaker and his dominate streak at Wrestlemania, it is surprising that John Cena was never on this list. For some reason this match hasn’t happened on the grandest stage of them all. I think from a WWE stand-point, Undertaker vs John Cena sells tickets without needing much of a storyline.
The Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt II
- I think now that the streak is over, the Undertaker should use the last match of his career to put over a young talent and give them a huge rub. Bray Wyatt has often been compared to the Undertaker for their unique characters. What better way to push Bray Wyatt over the top than defeating the Undertaker at Wrestlemania? Most old-school guys want to leave the business on their backs (meaning after a loss), I imagine that ‘Taker feels the same way.

The Undertaker vs Finn Balor.
- This is similar to my argument above about the Undertaker giving the rub to a younger talent. Balor has his ‘demon’ character that could apply to the same things I said above for Wyatt. If the WWE doesn’t want a re-match between Wyatt and ‘Taker, Balor could be a decent selection. Balor is scheduled to return around Wrestlemania season and I think Balor vs ‘Taker could be fun.
The Undertaker vs One of the Shield members (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns or Dean Ambrose).
- I think it would be pretty great to see one of the former Shield members face off with the Undertaker. No real reason for it, other than I think it could be a great match. I personally have Seth Rollins facing Triple H at this years ‘Mania so that leaves either Ambrose or Reigns. I am leaning towards Roman as it would give him a high-profile match that he wouldn’t have to win in order to look good.

After what happened with Lesnar, Ambrose needs a high profile match with someone who will actually work and I think a match with Taker would do that.

I really hope it happens both men would help RAW ratings hit over 3.5 mill every week building up to WM33 and they are not getting any younger. It seems this year WWE is listening to the fans so lets hope it happens.
