WWE Reportedly Confiscated Curtis Axel Signs At RAW, Axel Is NOT Happy!

Curtis Axel appeared on RAW this week to a great reaction from his hometown crowd of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He cut a passionate promo about his roots being from Minnesota, including his Grandfather: Larry ‘The Axe’ Hennig and his father: Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig. He ended up taking on Bo Dallas in a losing effort but many fans said Axel was one of their favorite parts of RAW.

WWE was reportedly confiscating Curtis Axel signs at RAW as a number of fans tweeted at him about it. Axel retweeted and commented on a number of tweets questioning why they would do such a thing:

Here is what Axel said to close it out:

Seems a bit odd that they would confiscate signs dedicated to Curtis Axel. He is low on the card but it is still his hometown. Feel like WWE shouldn’t be taking ANY signs at their events. Let people cheer for who they want to cheer for!

  1. 1 explanation is that WWE signs have to be a certain size… Shoulder width.. Anything bigger than that, WWE will take them up.

It happened to me at a house show. Me and my son made a Roman Reigns sign but it was too big and they took it up.

There is a way around it because they make you set the sign down but when they arent looking, you can just grab it and rush into your seat. So maybe thats what happened. People snuck the signs in anyways and got caught.

    Maybe, maybe not… Who knows.
