Sasha Banks was recently a guest on the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast. During the interview she was asked about a wide variety of topics involving the women of WWE. One of the biggest highlights was when Sasha was asked about the WWE draft splitting the Women’s roster in half.

Sasha says that the lack of women on RAW has become frustrating:
“I think it’s good that we’re split and more opportunities can happen for women, but we really don’t have enough women. Like, I wrestle the same people every single week, Dana Brooke or Charlotte, Charlotte, Dana Brooke. There [are] only six of us and I think that’s the hardest part, just we need more faces on RAW”
The 6 she is talking about are herself, Charlotte, Dana Brooke, Bayley, Nia Jax and Alicia Fox. The women who are not active right now include: Summer Rae, Emma and Tamina.
Sasha continued, saying:
“I think in due time [a Bayley feud will happen], but other than that, I mean, Natalya’s on SmackDown, but I haven’t really had a good feud with her and I would love to wrestle her. Naomi, Carmella, Alexa [Bliss], everyone that’s on SmackDown. Dammit”

Hard to blame her for being frustrated. The RAW women’s roster seems like it has been stuck in the same feud for the past several months. It needs a shot in the arm or something fresh to happen. Emma is showing up soon and it is unclear when Summer and Tamina will be back on WWE TV.
