If you were wondering why the crowd was so quiet while watching 205 Live, we have your answer. From a number of reports, it sounds like a large majority of fans didn’t stick around to watch the Cruiserweight action after Smackdown LIVE went off the air.

Here are some photos from fans that stayed for the whole show:

This guy has to somehow make this arena look full… #205Live pic.twitter.com/WZdmi5sk6L

Wondering if WWE will re-evaluate their strategy for the show moving forward after this? Also wondering if WWE didn’t do a good enough job of advertising the show after Smackdown or people just simply don’t care about the Cruiserweight division?
Hopefully the next couple of shows are able to maintain more of the crowd!!! If I buy a ticket to Smackdown, I am certainly sticking around to watch the high-flying action afterwards.
Let us know what you think in the comment section below!
couple of ideas:
1) put the show on before smack down. WWE will perhaps get a livelier audience.
2) pre-tape. they might consider doing it almost exclusively like the CWC. the more passionate/intimate crowd will give the show a boost. again, think CWC/NXT. perhaps logistically, they do it this way simply because its easier. they’re already on the road and have the venue. but I think they’re taking a gamble if they’re expecting tired crowds to stick around for what is essentially built up as a segment of dark-matches only seen on the network.
This CWC is a fail. These guys are great wrestlers but nobody really cares… Some do but most of us don’t. They were promised 1 hour every monday on RAW but most times they only get 1 match….. Maybe 2.
The purple ropes arent really fitting well also. CWC know its the CWC… No need to change all the colors.
Doing the show before Smackdown would help a little bit. The arena being MORE than half empty kind of shows you how many casual fans go to these shows just because it gives you something to do.
