As noted prior, the Talking Stick Resort Arena announced on social media that the Elimination Chamber PPV event was returning in 2017 to Phoenix, Arizona. We have some more details on the event and some of the rest of the events for 2017.

According to latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here) , the Elimination Chamber will take place on February 12th, 2017 in Phoenix. It will also be a RAW exclusive event.
They are reporting also that Fastlane will be a Smackdown Live exclusive PPV event on March 5th, 2017. This will take place at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
These two events are reportedly confirmed. The Observer says that they were given a list of 18 PPV events for 2017 that are being planned. There were talks about WWE cutting down their PPV events for 2017 but it looks like they might have scrapped that.

There have also been discussions about making Money in the Bank a Smackdown exclusive PPV. This would keep only the big 4 (Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania) as combined events. This is not confirmed yet and WWE could still change their minds.
