Ric Flair recently spoke on his podcast: The Ric Flair Show about a wide variety of things happening currently with the WWE product. He had a lot of praise for Charlotte and Sasha Banks after their match on RAW. He also had some interesting comments about WWE’s Cruiserweight division.

Flair on the Charlotte vs Sasha match last week on RAW:
”Well, I think I’m back on TV now. It hasn’t happened officially, but as I told [Charlotte], it’s not about winning and losing, it’s about having the greatest match and every time they work, the bar goes up. They had the greatest match I’ve ever seen in my [life]. I mean, it was so real”
Flair says that he is not a fan of the Cruiserweight division but he respects their athleticism:
“I hate to say it, I have so much respect for the cruiserweights as athletes, but it’s not what I’m looking for. It’s not what I look for to watch. I just feel like, first of all, [Charlotte] is a better athlete than the cruiserweights. Does that make sense? The cruiserweights are great, they’re athletic, really nice guys, but they can’t have a match better than Sasha and Charlotte”
