Legendary professional wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently interviewed Demolition at the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance. The legendary tag team had some words for the New Day who are about to pass their tag team title reign record of 478 days (single reign).

Demolition was asked about the New Day breaking the record. They say that they don’t know them personally but have heard that they are confident and good guys. They also said that the New Day better pack a lunch if they want to come after their combined reign title (Demolition holds the WWE record for a combined tag team reign at 698 days).

Ax and Smash are currently involved in a lawsuit with WWE. This is the likely reason why we haven’t seen them featured on WWE TV for any segments involving the New Day and the passing of their record. It is a shame, would have been nice to see them for an interaction on RAW.
The New Day will break the record on Tuesday.
