It took sudden death overtime for Charlotte to defeat Sasha Banks and become the new RAW Women’s Championship at WWE Roadblock: End of the Line. The match was hard-fought between both women but only one could walk away as the winner.

Charlotte was a guest on RAW Talk after Roadblock went off the air. She got very emotional when talking about Sasha Banks with tears in her eyes:
“Sasha just makes me want to be better. When I started at NXT I said that I wanted to be just as good as she was. I just followed in her footsteps and kept pushing and pushing. When I got to the main roster, I just said ‘I want to be the best.’ I don’t like being second, and she’s that one person I just want to be better than.”

Charlotte quickly snapped back into character but it was a pretty genuine moment.

Charlotte also tweeted Sasha after the match, showing her love to the Boss:

The rivalry has come to an end but these women have a lot to be proud of!! They have made history together and I am sure it is not the last time we see them share the ring together.
