The New Day lost the RAW tag team championships to Sheamus and Cesaro at WWE Roadblock: End of the Line. This ended their record-breaking title reign at 483 days. In the ring, it looked as if they weren’t ready to say goodbye to their title belts that they held for a year and a half.

The New Day were interviewed backstage after losing the titles and they looked devastated. Xavier Woods told the interviewer ‘not right now’ when asked how they were feeling:

They have much to be proud of! Their tag team record will likely stay in the history books for a long time. They were great as champions but it was time for a change in the tag team division. Let some other teams have their shine!!!
