Rumors And Speculation On The RAW Women’s Championship Match at Wrestlemania 33

Wrestlemania 33 is coming very soon and we are at the time of the month where rumors will be running rampant about the proposed match card. Only a few months left until the big event and the match card is reportedly still up in the air.

Here is what we know about the RAW Women’s Title picture heading into Wrestlemania 33.

There was a report a few weeks ago that mentioned the plan for the RAW Women’s Title being Bayley vs Charlotte, with Bayley winning the title in a big moment. There was also talk a few months ago about Sasha Banks getting a ‘big match’ at Wrestlemania but not for the title. So what the heck is going on?

As of right now, it looks like Vince McMahon has gotten cold feet. The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), suggests the plan right now being discussed is a fatal 4-way: Sasha Banks vs Bayley vs Nia Jax vs Charlotte at Wrestlemania 33.

Dave Meltzer also suggests WWE could make the first-ever Women’s ladder match at the event, but that is only his idea/ speculation.

During RAW this past week, you might have noticed Stephanie McMahon and Sasha Banks having an interesting interaction. It looked like WWE could be planting some seeds for a Stephanie vs Sasha match at Wrestlemania. This would qualify as a ‘big’ match for Sasha if it were to happen.

In our eyes WWE has two ways to go here. They could either do Charlotte vs Bayley and Sasha vs Stephanie. Or they will just throw the four main women of RAW in a match together like the fatal 4-way suggests.
