After the news broke, Lana sent a warning to Angle. She says that she has dreamed of Rusev crushing him during his Hall of Fame speech:

Chad Gable of American Alpha also teased that he would be meeting Angle at Wrestlemania weekend in Orlando. Many WWE fans want to see Kurt Angle start-up Team Angle 2.0 with American Alpha as his sidekicks. This was a little tease into this:
