Finn Balor was injured at Summerslam in his match against Seth Rollins. Balor suffered a torn labrum and was forced to vacate the WWE Universal Championship only one day after winning it. He was expected to be out until Wrestlemania as he recovered.

We have an update on Balor’s status. Warning potential spoilers are ahead.
According to a report from PWInsider.com, Balor is set to undergo testing this week with the WWE medical team. It can be assumed that if they clear him during the tests, he could be returning very soon. With the Rumble this weekend, this makes things very interesting.
Balor was expected to be out until March with the injury but it seems like he is recovering very well. Here is a video that he posted on instagram that shows off his recovery:

After this news, speculation will continue about Balor entering the Royal Rumble. We will have to wait and see if he is cleared to compete or not.
