Darren Young Undergoing Surgery

As noted prior, Darren Young was injured before RAW a couple of weeks back. He hit his elbow very hard during a match on WWE Main Event. The match was immediately stopped and the referee tossed up the dreaded “X” signifying a legit injury. It turns out that Young requires major surgery to get the elbow repaired.

He announced a few weeks ago that he suffered a: “Hyperextension which resulted in a traumatic dislocation & fracture of the coronoid process of the right elbow”

Young announced on his Instagram account that he is in Birmingham, Alabama preparing to go into surgery. There is no timeframe for his return:

Getting my elbow loaded with some serious hardware like the #OG #LexLuger tomorrow in #Birmingham. ? Dr. Dugas who is a phenomenal surgeon will be taking care of me. He did my knee 3 years ago.
