On RAW this past week we saw Triple H arrive to the arena alongside Samoa Joe. We also saw Triple H speak to Kevin Owens backstage prior to the ‘Festival of Friendship’ segment. After one conversation with ‘The Game’, Owens turned on his best friend; Chris Jericho.

So what did Triple H tell Kevin Owens that caused him to turn on his best friend? And what is he planning after assembling what looks like alliances with two of the top talents on the RAW roster?
Some rumors are floating around that Triple H could be forming a new version of the Authority. Samoa Joe has already proved his loyalty to Triple H by helping him out against Seth Rollins. We also noted prior that Samoa Joe is portraying a hitman type character on the WWE main roster.
Owens on the other hand was put to the test on RAW this week. Join the Authority and turn on your best friend or go against them and lose the title. Owens being the prizefighter that he is, chose to keep his title and turn on Chris Jericho.

A new version of the Authority could be in the works. Triple H would be leading the group, flanked by Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens as his muscle. Both have backgrounds with Triple H in NXT and that will likely be brought into the storyline.
Could be an interesting angle with Triple H bringing in ‘his guys’ from NXT to take over the WWE main roster. We will have to see how it develops in the upcoming weeks.
