We noted last week that there was a rumor floating around that Matt and Jeff Hardy had not signed new contracts with Impact Wrestling. This has had fans speculating that the duo could be heading back to the WWE, where they both gained their notoriety.

We have some more information regarding Matt and Jeff possibly returning.
PWInsider reports that Matt and Jeff’s deals are indeed set to expire this week with Impact and they could be leaving the company. (Update: Matt and Jeff are apparently NOT re-signing with TNA according to a new report from PWInsider, making things VERY interesting)
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), it is mentioned that the Hardy’s are refusing to guarantee any dates which is a hint that they could be WWE-bound after Wrestlemania. It is being said that with Jeff Jarrett coming in to help with the creative of Impact, this could limit the control that the Hardy’s currently have. This could be one of the main factors if they choose to leave the company.
A ton of things are up in the air right now but this is certainly a glimmer of hope for WWE fans that want to see them return.

We will find out more definitively later on in the week when Impact holds their TV taping. If the Hardy’s are absent, the speculation will be turned up a notch. We will make sure to update you on what happens.
Let us know what you think in the comment section below. Would you like to see them back in WWE for one more run? Would you like them to return as their current characters or would you like to see them just go back to their original forms?
