Chris Jericho became WWE United States Champion after he pinned Roman Reigns in a handicap match. Over the past few weeks, Jericho has been absent from WWE television after being brutally assaulted by his former best friend: Kevin Owens at the ‘Festival of Friendship’.

The last time Jericho has defended his U.S title on WWE television was the February 6th episode of Monday Night RAW. Jericho was able to defeat Sami Zayn after some help from Owens.
We are closing in on it being 30 days before he has defended the title. We recently saw Smackdown Live General Manager: Daniel Bryan strip Naomi of her Women’s Championship because she was unable to defend the belt in the 30-days required.
March 8th would mark 30 days since Jericho has defended the belt. This means that he has up until this upcoming week on RAW to put the title on the line or he will (or he should in theory) be stripped of the belt.

WWE doesn’t always follow the rules when it comes to the 30-day title defense, but we have to think that with Naomi being forced to vacate the belt recently, they will abide by the rule.
It is very possible that Jericho appears at Fastlane on Sunday and defends the title on Monday. Just giving you a heads up that him getting stripped of the title is a possibility.
